Americans will often wish each other\u00a0Happy Holidays<\/b>\u00a0around Christmas, especially if they wish to make their greeting neutral as far as religion is concerned.<\/p>\n Public holidays in Britain, designated by the government, are known as\u00a0bank holidays<\/b>.
